Drawing inspiration from the wisdom shared in books like Find a Way by Diana Nyad & The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown, Jenny Riddle shares stories and strategies to help us embrace the gifts of our own imperfections, adapt as we age, reframe our body image, and follow our dreams. She’ll inspire you to write the most important story you will ever tell—the story you tell yourself.
How often have you said to yourself, “I’ll do that when I’m skinnier, better prepared, more creative, smarter, have more time?” “What will people think?” “Who am I to put my ideas out into the world?” “I can change to fit in.” “No one can find out about….”
Stories have the ability to inspire and change lives. But there are also those stories we tell ourselves that keep us from being the person we really want to be or from doing the things we truly want to do, both personally and professionally. In this inspiring presentation, Jenny Riddle shares great stories, lots of books, and plenty of tools and strategies to inspire you to write the most important story you will ever tell–the story you tell yourself.
At the end of the event, we invite you to use your newfound voice to write a favorite memory of The Little Traveler to be included in our 100 Year Digital Scrapbook.
